How I Style: Peter Pilotto for Target Shirt Dress

May 18, 2014

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted, but it's been a crazy week with college finals! Happy to say that they are all done though! Today's post is about my new Peter Pilotto for Target Shirt Dress. I bought it a few months ago when the line came out, but today was the first day it was warm enough to wear out.

DressPeter Pilotto for Target , $17.48
Belt: Vintage, (Similar here and here)
Cuff: H&M, (Similar here)

Heels: Urban Outfitters, (Almost exact ones here)

There are a lot of ways to wear this dress, including as a bathing suit cover-up (which I want to try out!) But today I wanted to take it to a classy direction. I figured with it being Spring there was enough black going on in the outfit, so I paired it instead with a grey vintage belt and matching suede pumps. To bring out the gold in the belt buckle I added a gold hammered bracelet to my wrist. I think the key part of this outfit is to hold back on jewelry and let the dress itself be what stands out!

The funny part about this outfit was on the way walking back home my neighbor had a gorgeous run-down chair outside for free. As an interior designer in the making and DIY diva, I took that baby! So my missing accessory here is my solid maple chair. :)

Talking about interior design, I've never asked this so I feel I should now! Would any of you guys like some interior design posts every now and then?

Have a wonderful week everyone, and enjoy the sun! Thanks as always to all of my wonderful followers. You guys rule.
