Eat Your Heart Out: Valentine's & Galentine's Day Goodies

I've always loved Valentine's Day...yep I said it. 

Fun fact: I was almost born on Valentine's.....so when I was a kid- seeing all the heart décor and t-shirts made me happy because it meant it was almost my birthday (yep that's kid logic). Because of that I've never had any hatred towards it...not even when I was single.

But honestly!  In today's world I think now is the best time to celebrate Valentine's single...because "Galentine's Day" is a real thing...

If you have no idea what that is I'll fill you in real quickly based on my research through google (so do not quote me). Galentine's started out fictionally through the show Parks and Recreation...and enough people went "Wow. This is a great idea!" and it became a real thing. On the 13th of February you get together with the "gals" in your life (I would totally break that rule and extend it but that's me).  Bring food, watch movies, go out for a night on the town- just have fun. There's no "perfect" way to celebrate- it's truly just about having a great time with your friends.   

So...whichever one YOU may be celebrating this February...I've searched the internet for some of the best clothing, décor and jewelry to help you (or you and your buddies) stand out in a crowd this holiday. But honestly- some of this home décor I'd keep around year long...there's some reeeaally cute stuff!!

If you shop now you can get some great goodies shipped to your door before the 13th and 14th. Super easy since you won't have to fight people for items on a shelf.

Cat Gifts in Honor of #NationalCatDay

Hi guys!

Been a long time since I last posted but I promise it was for good reasons- in fact...I got married! Planning a wedding is much more stressful and time consuming than I ever thought and it definitely took away from my blog time. Nothing I will ever apologize for as it was well worth it. But I'm back! In fact.. I'm planning on making a "what to expect" post sometime in the future on weddings so if you're interested, sign up for e-mail updates so you know the second I post something new!

Because it's National Cat Day, and I'm a full time crazy cat lady- I had no choice but to make a post of awesome cat gifts! The holidays are creeping up and in all honesty...if you have someone on your list that loves cats, NOW is the time to search for their gift. NOT later. If the internet proves one thing it's that there are a lot of cat lovers out there. So the closer you get to the holiday season, the harder it is to find anything cat related in stock.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Picks

It's HERE!!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes public TOMORROW,  Friday July 20th and extends through August 6th. For fashion bloggers I'll be honest- we treat it like a holiday.

The sale happens only once a year, and is packed with gorgeous high quality items at unbelievable discounts. If you're eyeing clothing or accessories that don't normally go on sale-- they are very likely to be on sale here. Just saying...

As soon as the early access opened I started my wish list and I can't wait to share it with all of you! My picks include items that are trending, classy and timeless, or necessities for your closet. I still own pieces from this sale three years ago that are still in amazing shape. I can't stress enough the quality of some of these pieces- spending the money now will save you from having to buy certain staple items every half year when they go bad.
