Hey guys! I can't lie...I'm pretty upset that it's already August. Just the idea of wearing sweaters in a few months is enough to give me the chills! That's exactly why I decided to buy a kimono a few weeks ago. I think I drove my boyfriend crazy in my search for the perfect one, but it was worth it! Kimonos are generally made with light materials to keep you just warm enough while those Fall temps close in. In other words it's the perfect piece for late September! Plus, you can't go wrong with the effortless boho vibe they radiate!
After I bought my kimono it took me some time to figure out how to wear it. I found that they work best with silkier tops, graphic tees and crochet details (for extra emphasis on your outfit). When you wear simpler tops under them the result is pretty boring. As for bottoms, they go with everything from a nice mini skirt to leggings or distressed jeans. Jewelry is a must, but the amount entirely depends on you!
