Brooklyn-esque Street Style // White Cardigan and Faux Leather Leggings

Feb 18, 2015

An outfit post?! Finally! Being bombarded with snow the past few months I haven't even considered taking photos outside. At least until this weekend when it was a balmy 23 degrees (yes I'm completely serious). Nothing is really new on my end...I cut a lot of my hair off and bought a heavy white sweater that I've been wearing constantly since January. So of course it's featured in today's look. I hope you guys like it!

What I'm Wearing:
Cardigan (On Sale!) / Tank (Similar) / Necklace (Just As Awesome) / Leggings / Boots (Almost exact!) *

This sweater is my all time favorite because of it's incredible softness, and heavy material. It definitely looks like something I'd find at Urban Outfitters, not Forever 21! If you need a nice cardigan that's perfect for multiple outfits and looks, then I highly recommend it!

To create a real contrast for this look I paired my winter white sweater with a black base outfit. However, the black didn't make things simple in the least- the pants had a faux leather texture and the tank had a delicate gold foil detail. The mixture of materials really allowed the outfit to stand out on it's own. I paired one of my favorite long bohemian necklaces to bring out the gold in the tank and added my favorite combat boots to the mix. The result was very reminiscent of Brooklyn street style.

For all my friends in the Northeast, how are you dressing with all of this snow lately? I'm curious!! Snow boots and leggings? That's what I've been wearing a lot lately :)
